Shoot of the Week

I've been debating on whether or not I want to do a shoot of the week type thing with this blog. I think it could be a good way to showcase some of my favorite shoots, and maybe describe my process a bit. I've only really been in business for a couple of weeks now, and so far it's been pretty amazing. I'm still trying to find a balance between real estate and portrait photography. I love both, but I definitely excel at real estate. Portraiture is a thing I want to get better at. I'm planning on doing some mini sessions soon to get some more practice under my belt and work out some of the kinks that always seem to come up in a portrait session.

Anyways, on to the bit about the shoot of the week. I'm actually already a couple of weeks behind on this. This particular shoot was the first one that wasn't for friends or family, and that was done under the business name. And it went splendidly. My clients' home was ready beyond what I could have hoped for and the family was super nice and so amazing to work for.

I couldn't have asked for a better first shoot. So far my shoots have been pretty great, everyone has been mostly ready, the homes have looked good, and my clients have been great to work with, but this one just blew me away. If every shoot were like this, my job would be the easiest job in the world.
